Andries Bekker to undergo surgery

Andries Bekker © Gallo ImagesVodacom WP Head Coach Allister Coetzee today confirmed that WP lock Andries Bekker would undergo surgery to correct the recurrence of an old back injury.

Bekker's recovery and rehabilitation will be managed by the WP medical team. The injury is not career threatening and Bekker is expected to make a full recovery in time for the Vodacom Stormers 2011 Super 15 campaign.
