The Toyota School of Excellence, a functional department of the WPRFU, is responsible for :

Identification of Elite Squads for players in the U/12; U/15; U/17 age groups. Depending on the age groups, players will be receiving :

• development of handling, running and defensive skills
• positional development
• individual testing
• individual conditioning programmes
• motivational talks

Players in these squads will form their own teams to participate in the schools trials and will only start playing at the semi-final stage

Visits to identified schools to assist coaches with :

• pre season programmes
• to develop skills
• game plans
• evaluation of games
